Interior Designer | ASID

Shonna RIDGEWAy

My interest in Design was sparked at a young age. I grew up with a Grandpa who was an Architect and a Grandma who was an incredibly talented painter. I loved building, creating new things, painting, drawing and rearranging every chance I got. I took these interests with me to college where I attended an accredited Interior Design program. The four year program focused not only on the aesthetics of design, but the functional, technological, and emotional aspects. I believe these elements all need to work together to create a truly successful design. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with an emphasis in Fine Art.

I live in Bozeman, Montana with my husband who works for the Bozeman Fire Department, and our two young kids. We have been here for 14 years and have loved every year we have been blessed to be here. In my free time I love to get out on the beautiful Montana rivers and go rafting as a family, camping and enjoying live music around the area.

My Approach

I love creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but functional as well and cater to my Client’s individual wants and needs. Getting to know you and how you live in your space is the most important step in starting the design process. I believe every project is unique and the Interior Design I create for you should reflect your personality.

During the initial Design Consultation, we will tour your space, talk through your dreams for your home, get inspired with ideas and create a plan to bring the design to life.

Dream it

Let’s create! Once we talk through the details of the project goals, timeframe, and budget, I get to work creating Inspiration Boards and Design Boards. I lay out everything for you so you can see it clear and concise and envision the end result!

American Society of Interior Designers

Being a member of the ASID is an important part of being an Interior Designer

“Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, we strive to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives.

We lead interior designers in shared conversations around topics that matter: from evidence-based and human-centric design to social responsibility, well-being, and sustainability. We showcase the impact of design on the human experience and the value interior designers provide.” [ASID Website, 2o22]
